Through this project I have been questioning and highlighting how access to these scenic outdoor spaces, recreations and lifestyles is related to a person’s background.
There are two themes I have been focusing on:
- Found at Sea – A portrayal of people’s dedication to and love of coastal life and its related pursuits.
- Who owns the view? Exploring the effect of holiday/second homes on communities over the past 50 years, and how this translates as a matter of equality for the next generation.
This is a group exhibition that will include work from myself and by different groups I have been working with in the community… there will be films, short audio conversations and illustrations.
Lost and found at sea
Thank you everyone who made it to the exhibition!
I will be uploading some of the work from the project here in the coming weeks
